What’s the best way to ingratiate yourself with the fans of a new club?
Sign a few shirts maybe? Kiss the badge? Maybe say how happy you are to be in [insert city name here].
But always remember the first rule of signing for a new club: Get the f**king name right.
It seems Bradley Johnson didn’t even bother to read Rule 1 when he made the switch from Norwich to Derby County.
Either it was a Freudian slip, or he’d actually never heard of the team he was signing for, so just made it up.
Still at least he didn’t say ‘It’s great to be here in Leicester’…
