Aldi releases incredible Willy Wonka themed Christmas advert

Kevin the carrot is back

Released today (November 6), the advert officially marks the start of the Christmas season with the return of fan favourite Kevin the Carrot to our screens.

The ad follows the adventures of everyone's favourite carrot as he visits William Conker's (get it?) magical factory.

Alongside Grate Grandpa, Kevin explores the factory and meets some mischievous characters along the way.

The other attendees to the factory include ‘Greedy, Gluttonous Grape’ and ‘Naughty Green Kiwi' who, one by one, fall away until Kevin is the last carrot standing.

The advert finishes with a heartwarming Christmas message: "Seasonal goodwill was truly in the air as Christmas is a time that’s sweeter when you share".
