Video: Comedian John Oliver eats and drinks his words after Sepp Blatter steps down

That's the problem with outlandish promises, sometimes you have to follow through with them.
In his most recent anti-FIFA rant on his show Last Week Tonight, British comedian John Oliver made a series of pledges should Sepp Blatter leave his post as president of the organisation. So confident was he that Blatter would stay on, Oliver agreed to carry out various tasks relating to some of FIFA's largest sponsors.
These included donning a pair of "ridiculous" Adidas trainers, tasting all the items on McDonalds' Dollar Menu, and drinking a bottle of Budweiser's 'Bud Light Lime' beer.
Of course, Blatter won re-election but subsequently stepped down, and Oliver's words came back to bite him.
"I didn't think this would happen!" he despairs, before being good to his word and going through with all three promises.
But he couldn't resist having another little dig at Budweiser first...
