Halftime at the Super Bowl lasts about half an hour. That includes setting up the stage, the halftime show, and getting the stage off the field again.

It's a staggering feat of coordination and execution, but in the midst of all the commercials and game analysis, you don't actually see the stage being constructed and removed on TV. To be honest, it wouldn't be that interesting anyway - just a bunch of burly dudes pushing pieces of equipment around. Thank goodness for time-lapse, then. It all happens so fast. The pieces of the stage come out and are assembled, the lighting rig goes up, the audience pours out onto the field and before you know it, Gaga's going for it.
