Say what you want about footballers, but Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is an absolute gent.
Recently we saw St Etienne’s French striker Nolan Roux ping a ballboy in the face with an absolute thunderb*stard, then slope away without so much as an apology.
But they obviously do things differently in Belgium. When Lukaku hit a female fan behind the goal in the warm-up before the Toffees’ game against Southampton, the star was straight in the crowd making it up to her personally.
