PIC: Liverpool fans lose their sh*t after Skrtel does the unthinkable – grows hair

It just ain’t right.

There are certain things that you don’t really want to see, mainly because they distort your view of the world and wrinkle your brain. These include a) your parents having sex, b) Martin Skrtel with hair.

The Liverpool defender has carefully cultivated the look and reputation of a modern day hardman. His head is always clean-shaved and his contorted expression often resembles a clenched fist. But since the turn of the year, the Slovak has been covertly growing a mop.

To say it has come as a surprised to his fans is something of an understatement – in fact the reaction amongst the Anfield faithful has been one of shock and disbelief. It has shook them to their very core.

Here’s hoping it leads to the Samson effect, rather than giving him a softer edge…
