The idea of Manchester United landing Neymar has been one of the weekend’s more ridiculous transfer rumours.
Nevertheless, with some United supporters managing to convince themselves that there’s no smoke without fire, their former captain has taken to Twitter to give them a harsh dose of reality.
@manutd are not getting @neymarjr so don't even waste time getting excited. If Pedro doesn't come then don't expect Neymar please

Perhaps not a major surprise to many, but refreshing to see a man that is so closely connected to the club being so publicly dismissive of it.
