The former Liverpool man is well used to Twitter abuse at this stage, but we didn't think people would be so cruel as to mock the ex-striker after one of his horses, Brown Panther, had to be put down.
The TV pundit took to Twitter to let people know how bad he was feeling but social media was pretty harsh on a man grieving over the loss of a multi-million pound investment (click to enlarge the image below).
Ok, so the message may be a little bit mawkish but some people on Twitter saw another opportunity to poke fun at the former England striker.
