A lack of quality on the pitch is apparent and the disappointing performances turned in by the players of both sides is reflected by the dream Premier League XI of Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon. The Juventus stopper was asked to pick a team of the best players currently plying their trade in England's top flight and he ignored all players from Liverpool or Manchester United, selecting a side dominated by Manchester City.
