Liverpool and Manchester United completely ignored in Gianluigi Buffon’s Premier League XI

SportsJOE

The two most successful teams in English football history are going through a rough patch.

Liverpool have not won a league title in 26 years while Manchester United have looked a shadow of themselves since Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

A lack of quality on the pitch is apparent and the disappointing performances turned in by the players of both sides is reflected by the dream Premier League XI of Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon.

The Juventus stopper was asked to pick a team of the best players currently plying their trade in England’s top flight and he ignored all players from Liverpool or Manchester United, selecting a side dominated by Manchester City.
