In news which will come as a shock to almost no one, Sepp Blatter has been re-elected as FIFA President for a fifth term.
Despite the 79-year-old failing to receive the required two-thirds majority, rival Prince Ali bin Hussein withdrew from the race after the first round of voting to leave Blatter as the only remaining candidate.

Blatter’s re-election comes just days after several officials from football’s governing body were arrested in Switzerland on corruption allegations.
Following Blatter’s cryptic musings on the nature of time itself, JOE is starting to worry that he might never leave his post.

In his closing speech before the election, Blatter pledged to “fix” FIFA, however that was met with scepticism.
