England qualify for Euros after scoring historic 18-second restart penalty

It was the strangest 18 seconds in football history.

But England U19 Women have qualified for the Euro finals in Israel.

The Three Lions side went through after netting a penalty in an 18-second restart against Norway.

They lost the fixture 2-1 to the Scandinavian side – but had been awarded a penalty which was never taken.

In a bizarre and unprecedented move FIFA ordered the remaining seconds of the game be played from the 95th minute.

Well England only bloody went and won.
