This French dad has a poignant conversation with his young son about Paris attack ‘bad guys’

No father should have to have this conversation...

Ben Kenyon

Paris is still reeling from the horrific terror attacks that killed 130 innocents.

The City of Light has been darkened by fear and anguish after eight gunmen wearing suicide vests went on a murderous rampage across the French capital.

The country is stricken by grief, paralysed by fear and still struggling to come to terms with this brazen assault on freedom.

Paris is known across the world as a city of love, life and bons vivants but to see that spirit extinguished in its people is sad.

But nothing is sadder that seeing the effects of terrorism manifest in the eyes of a child.

To see this young boy trying to understand why ‘bad guys’ would want to come and hurt people in his home is awful.

No father should have to explain this to his son. But the way this dad assuages his little boy’s fears is wonderful.
