Proof, as if it was needed, that Seamus Coleman is an absolute champ.

11-year old Will McKenzie is a massive Everton fan.

In April of this year, his father, Stephen, sadly passed away at the age of 52.

Best friends as well as father and son, they travelled to Everton games together and Stephen’s death was a devastating blow to Will and his family.

In the run-up to Christmas, Will was nominated by his friend Owen as a candidate for Everton’s Blue Crimbo Secret Santa surprise campaign.

As a result, he was paid a surprise visit by a certain Everton right-back, the captain of the Ireland football team and an all-round gentleman.

That man, the one and only Seamus Coleman, not only surprised him with his presence, but with presents, including complimentary tickets for Will and five people to take in Everton’s clash with Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day.

A truly lovely moment, we should warn you that the following footage might move you to tears.
