The BT Sport host was joined by Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves on the Britannia Stadium pitch ahead of Stoke v Manchester City and found the time to have a dig at Owen’s time with the Potters before throwing back to the studio.
Owen, who scored just once in his eight games as a Stoke player, had just given a breakdown about what Mark Hughes needed to do to get Stoke to kick on.

Humphrey responded by: “A few years ago, they thought they’d signed an international quality striker…It wasn’t to be.”
