We're starting to think Lionel Messi might have been watching too many clips of Zinedine Zidane.
Messi might be one of the best players in the world, but that doesn't excuse this ridiculous attempt to headbutt former Newcastle defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa. Fair play to the opponent for keeping his cool, barely reacting even when Messi put an arm around his throat. Incredibly the Argentine avoided a red card for this, but we're not sure how.
