During his time at Arsenal, Aaron Ramsey has gone toe-to-toe with some of the greatest players in Premier League history.
In Europe, he’s also faced pretty formidable opposition, lining up against the likes of Lionel Messi, Arjen Robben and Toni Kroos.
But none of those geniuses were considered when the Welshman was asked to name the toughest opponent he’s ever faced.
“Scott Parker,” Ramsey told UEFA.com. “He doesn’t give you a moment’s rest on the ball and is always kicking away at your ankles or tackling you. He is definitely the toughest opponent I’ve played against.”
We’re not sure what dirt Parker has on Ramsey, but it must be good…
