Bloody lamestream media
Donald Trump has claimed that Joe Biden’s trip up the steps to Air Force One “wasn’t mentioned for the most part” by the media, describing the incident as “terrible.”
Not one to miss an opportunity to launch an attack at a rival, no matter how petty or moronic, Donald Trump has had his say on the incident, which to most of us has simply provided some great meme content.
The former president went as far to say that the coverage of Biden’s stumble highlighted how there was no longer freedom of the press.
Speaking to conservative TV station Newsmax, Trump said: “That tumble was terrible. It wasn’t really one, it was three, and it wasn’t mentioned for the most part in the lamestream,” lamented the former president.
“The whole thing is incredible. There’s no longer freedom of the press.”
Unsurprisingly he did not stop there, and doubled down on the cataclysmic significance of Biden’s trip up all three of those steps by questioning the physical and mental capability of Joe Biden.
He said: “What’s happening is crazy and you wonder whether or not all of the things that he’s signing, whether or not he understands what he’s signing, because this is worse than Bernie Sanders at its worst point. We never thought this could happen. Bernie Sanders on steroids wouldn’t be signing what this guy is signing.”
Other commentators have suggested that the event did not get as much coverage as it should have, with journalist Bernard Goldberg writing for The Hill that CNN devoted only 15 seconds to the stumble on the stairs. This is in comparison to 22-minutes that it used to cover Trump’s famous West Point ramp walk in June 2020.
All I can say is that clearly Trump and his allies have not been on Instagram recently because it was wall-to-wall coverage on there.
