The dirtiest place on a plane revealed… and it’s not the toilet

Absolutely disgusting.

Planes aren’t quite as clean and pristine as we would like to think, according to new research which shows the filthiest place on the plane is not the toilet.

In fact, it’s in a place that you’re far more likely to come into contact with. According to the study, which was conducted by a US University, bacteria can survive for up to four days on the arm rest. Especially when people come back from the toilet without washing their hands.

As well as this, a number of flight attendants have said that baby poo is a likely contaminant on the tray in front of your seat as people often leave dirty nappies there when they are changing their baby.

Next time you take a plane trip don’t forget the sanitizer and keep yourself clean and healthy.
