BASE jumper pierces parachute to his back before Thailand jump

Not content with throwing himself off a 380 ft ledge, this BASE jumper decided to add a gruesome and painful twist...

For those of us that don't make a hobby of throwing ourselves off cliffs and large buildings, it's reasonable to assume that if you did have to do that, you'd be extra careful that your parachute - the thing preventing you from a certain death - was securely fastened. Californian Josh Miramant, however, decided it would be a good idea to attach his parachute by piercing it through the skin on his back, before this jump in Thailand...
