Luis Suarez’s volley against Roma looked even better from the stands (Video)

What a strike!

One of the most underrated aspects of the popularity of smartphones is the increased amount of footballing fan footage.

While you might laugh at someone for watching a game through their phone, really they are doing a service for all of us who can’t be there.

We’re not saying there’s anything wrong with watching matches on TV, but there’s something so raw about a video shot from the stands that just captures the play so much better than those fancy HD cameras.

Unfortunately, we weren’t in the Nou Camp on Tuesday night to witness Barcelona’s demolition of Roma. But thankfully one lucky punter who was there decided to whip their phone out and capture Luis Suarez’s second goal at the end of the first half.

With a minute to go until half-time, Suarez catches a floating ball in the box with a sweet volley, smashing it into the back of the net.
