In a message to viewers of HBO Asia, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Piven were all on hand to promote the series and upcoming movie.
In a preemptive attempt to atone for his character's outrageous behaviour towards Lloyd Lee (played by Rex Lee), Piven made a heartfelt/tongue-in-cheek apology.
"A little disclaimer. I play a character named Ari Gold who was vicious to an Asian assistant named Lloyd, and I'd like to apologise for eight seasons of that - I'm sorry," said the deadpan actor.
Let's hope Ari doesn't develop similar levels of empathy and remorse for the cinema release later in the year...
