Netflix has bagged an absolute classic

Not a great deal for everyone though

JOE

This is a great move.

Netflix have moved to snap up one of the greatest British shows of all time, taking classic comedy Only Fools and Horses from the BBC.

While the Beeb has cashed in, allowing us to watch the adventures of Del Boy and Rodney whenever we choose to, the deal won’t bring much of a windfall for any of the show’s stars.

John Challis, who played car dealer Boycie in the show, has said that the Netflix deal won’t be a great deal for him.

“Everyone thinks we’re all millionaires but we get a percentage of a percentage,” Challis  is quoted as saying in The Mirror.
