There's nothing worse than getting caught short on one of Britain's train stations.

You've still got 20 minutes to wait for your train but you're moments away from p*ssing your own pants. So you do the 'wee dance' hastily across the station and with the hallowed toilet sign in sight you relax, knowing that you'll soon be blissfully unloading the contents of your bladder in an actual loo rather than in front of horrified commuters. But wait - there's a b*stard pay turnstile blocking your path - so while on the cusp of filling your new jeans with urine, you frantically rifle through your pockets for a 20p piece. B*stards. You can't even go for a p*ss without having to pay through the nose any more. We've all been in that position at some point - but when you're sprinting head first for the urinals you probably don't stop and think how much money they're screwing out of us. Well, its a lot. ShortList report figures released by Network Rail showing Britain's top 10 richest train station toilets...and there's no prizes for guessing where they are. Over the past three years London Victoria alone bled passengers of £2.3m - with Euston (£1.8m), Kings Cross (£1.4m) and Paddington (£1.2m) not far behind. Network Rail say the 'small fee' is to maintain the toilets and prevents misuse and vandalism, with profits put back into railway facilities.
