Michael C Hall confirms he’s open to Dexter reboot

James Dawson

This is incredible news for fans of the TV show.

It’s been over five years since Dexter ended but fans of the show are still in mourning.

For anybody who never saw it, the Showtime series focused on Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter analyst by trade but a serial killer by night.

The eighth and apparently final season of the show aired in 2013 and since then Michael C Hall has gone on to have roles in The Crown and Safe.

However, the good news for anybody who can’t get over Dexter‘s ending is that Hall now seems willing to play the part again.

In a recent interview the actor told Variety“When Dexter ended, I wanted to mix it up and felt like the cumulative effect of the things I have done since has served as a sort of ‘Dexorcism.’ [But] it’s a possibility given how the show ended that we could revisit Dexter.

He added: “I have just yet to, for my part, imagine or hear someone else’s idea that makes it feel worth doing. But never say never.”

Hopefully somebody comes up with an idea that works for the actor soon.
