A woman has gone viral after praising a man for not staring at her while she was doing her squat exercises in the gym.
TikTok creator Libby Christensen (@libbychristensen) was filming herself doing squats. In the corner of the shot, the man in question can be seen looking at the floor before starting his own workout.
“I just need to shout out this man who was behind me while I was hack squatting,” Christensen wrote alongside a post soundtracked by The Golden Girls theme song.

She added: “I was so uncomfy that I was being stared down but very thankful that my booty was not his focus.”
After watching the video herself, Christensen admitted that the man’s actions made her feel “at ease.”
The post has since garnered 4.5 million views, half a million likes and thousands of comments from people sharing their thoughts on this highly debated subject.
“That’s called the “ah yes the floor is made of floor,” one user wrote.
Another said: “When I’m in this position at the gym I have to move in fear of the woman thinking I’m a creep. The uncomfortable feeling goes both ways sometimes.”
Christensen replied: “Most definitely feel you here! It’s hard to gauge people’s intentions especially when we all walk around in silence!”
Another TikTok user said: “There’s more guys doing everything they can to make sure it’s very clear they’re not staring at women in the gym.”
However not everyone agreed with Christensen and in fact some questioned her outfit choice.
“Do you not think he’s “uncomfy” with u filming him,” one person questioned.
Coming to her defence, another user asked: “Why are we focusing on her clothing. people still get harassed or assaulted in things other than ‘skin tight’ attire.”
“I feel like some of y’all won’t be satisfied till females are wearing sweats & a turtle neck to the gym,” another agreed.
