Billie Eilish says men don’t get criticised for their bodies because ‘girls are nice’

‘They don’t give a f***’

Billie Eilish has said that men don’t face criticism for their bodies because “girls are nice”.

While there’s certainly no hiding the fact that women are constantly facing scrutiny for their body shapes and sizes, Billie Eilish has argued that men don’t face any and it’s all because “women are nice”.

In an interview with Variety last year, Eilish explained that being a woman is “such a war”, “especially being a young woman in the public eye. It’s really unfair.”

Billie, who’s 22 and already worth around $30 million, also spoke (again) about her decision to wear baggy clothes to stop people talking about her body.

She said: “I wasn’t trying to have people not sexualize me. But I didn’t want people to have access to my body, even visually.

“I wasn’t strong enough and secure enough to show it.”

Billie said she was would’ve been devastated if people made comments on her body – but she’s argued that men don’t face the same scrutiny at all.

She explained: “Nobody ever says a thing about men’s bodies.

“If you’re muscular, cool. If you’re not, cool. If you’re rail thin, cool. If you have a dad bod, cool. If you’re pudgy, love it!

“Everybody’s happy with it. You know why? “Because girls are nice.

“They don’t give a f**k because we see people for who they are!”

Hm.
