Couple takes paternity test and the results are being dubbed ‘the plot twist of the year’

A thread on Reddit has proven to be one hell of a rollercoaster, and saw a husband question whether his wife was cheating after his paternity test came back negative. An unnamed woman took to Reddit to share a story about how her husband doubted his daughter was biologically his. After he threatened to leave, they both took a series of tests and what emerged was something no one seemed to expect. "Now he thinks our relationship is a lie and wants to divorce," she wrote. "I love my husband, we've been together since college and he's the love of my life, he's handsome and kind and while I've slept with two other people, both were before we got together." Despite arguing that there was "no other choice for a father", the woman's husband took a paternity test that came back negative. The 29-year-old mum said she was "scared" and didn't know "how to convince him it was a faulty test." She continued: "Also, I just had a conversation with my husband. He's out of his room now, and we discussed some things. I told him again that I would never cheat and started talking about a list I made of tests I want done, but he told me that he didn't want to hear it right now. "We're going to have a longer conversation tomorrow and he said that he still loves our daughter, and he won't try to keep me out of the house or our room for now." The woman then made a list of relevant tests she wanted to get done, to which her husband agreed. "He apologized for the way he acted (which I didn't need) and said that he wouldn't try to kick me out of our home," she wrote. She later returned to the post to offer further explanation, stating that she had "an appointment with a chimerism specialist." Here's where things get particularly crazy as it turns out she is also not her daughter's biological mother. "I don't know what happened to my baby, and that is terrifying. I have my husband back, but my whole world was still upended, and I just wish he'd never taken that stupid test. "I've been sleeping in my daughter's room, and I'm so afraid that she's going to be taken away from me, but at the same time I want to know where my biological daughter is, and if she's okay."
