Apple are fixing the annoying keyboard feature with iOS 9

JOE

Apple have fixed one of the minor
inconveniences of the iPhone and iPad keyboard that should make our lives that little bit easier.

At the moment, the only visible reminder that you’ve switched to typing in capital letters is the shift key turning either black or grey – which can be pretty easy to miss.

But iOS 9, the upcoming operating system for Apple products, has made a small but very handy adjustment.

When you now press the shift key, all the letters will change to capital or lower case, removing the confusion over what style you’re typing in.

In case you’re having trouble picturing it, here’s how the new keyboard looks in upper case…

And lower case…

As we said, it’s only a small change but it’s pretty helpful.
