Reynolds confirmed the news himself

We all know that Hollywood has come to Wrexham in the shape of owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, but what about Wrexham making it in Hollywood?

Well, as confirmed by Reynolds, one member of the League Two side has made a hidden cameo in his upcoming film: Deadpool and Wolverine.

The popular film franchise returns as Reynolds reprises his role as Deadpool while Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine.

It will be released in cinemas on July 26 and also features The Crown star Emma Corrin and American comedian Rob Delaney.

In addition to the A-list talent that we will see on the big screen, there will be a hidden role for one of Wrexham's players.

Ollie Palmer has apparently been spotted in the trailer according to fans of Wrexham and although Reynolds himself didn't confirm it, the striker posted on Instagram in response to the trailer: "If you squint..."

Reynolds was then asked by a fan whether the 32-year-old featured, he replied: "Keen eyesight."

If it is to be the case, Palmer will become the first player from the Red Dragons to feature in a Hollywood film since Reynolds and McElhenney bought the club back in 2021.

Wrexham are set to travel to Las Vegas in the summer to celebrate securing promotion to League One.
