Dog owner has to pay for three seats so Great Dane can travel with him

'I've never seen so many smiling at an airport'

The owner of the Great Dane was travelling on a cross-country flight across the US but the flight certainly wasn't cheap as they had to purchase three seats in total for the pair of them, with the doggo requiring two.

Gabriel Bogner, the dog's owner, was travelling from Los Angeles to New York City with his beloved Dane, Darwin.

Footage shows the happy duo smiling as they board the flight.

Start-up founder Gabriel was moving from LAX to New York's La Guardia and explained that it was Darwin's first ever time flying.

Gabriel said: "People were absolutely gob-smacked and shocked but everyone was so excited to see her. I’ve never seen so many smiling at an airport

"This was rare, [it was] her first time flying. There were no issues, she was great and the entire crew was amazing. They did joke that she got an upgrade and I didn’t but it was a very smooth trip."

Nobody is forgetting that trip anytime soon.
