Legs: Strongman training for bodybuilders with British athlete Colin Jones

Colin Jones is a strongman – but he looks like a bodybuilder.

The British powerhouse is a new breed of athlete that has the freaskish strength, but the aesthetics to go with it.

Don’t believe us? He has a 350kg deadlift, a 300kg squat – but still has six-pack abs.

We’ve already seen how Jones trains hit chest and his shoulders in Parts 1 and 2 of JOE’s Strongman Training for Bodybuilders series.

Now in Part 3 we look at how the 19-stone athlete trains his legs – looking at traditional squat variations, sled pulls and the farmer’s walk.

Colin mixes a bodybuilding training style with strongman moves and he says anyone can add these moves into their leg training programme.
