After recognising former adult star Mia Khalifa and proceeding to text all his friends about it during his honeymoon, a man was forced to buy his new wife an expensive gift as an apology. Khalifa, 29, began working in the porn industry in 2014, quickly becoming one of the most-watched performers in the world. Since exiting the explicit video scene, she has been working in social media, among other things.

However Khalifa's face is still recognised across the world, which caused a slightly awkward situation between TikToker Lya Mariella and her new husband. On their post-wedding travels, Lya and her hubby were checking out restaurants in Paris. "POV: You're in Paris having dinner with your husband when he spots Mia Khalifa, gets way too excited about it & proceeds to text all his friends," she captioned the video that shows her downing some bubbly. The video does seem to be in jest, as Khalifa herself responded and the conversation saw no harsh words exchanged. "Girl my man was on his phone the whole time, I say we throw them all away and go shopping tomorrow," Khalifa said, to which Lya responded, "I'm currently at hermes across the street, feel free to meet me here.

Though there is certainly no animosity between the women, the same cannot be said for the unnamed husband, whose holiday got way more expensive as a result.
