A woman who claimed to have got her boyfriend's name tattooed on her forehead has revealed that the whole thing was fake.
Influencer Ana Stanskovsky, who is currently based out of Bali, recently went viral after sharing a video showing her getting the name ‘Kevin’ allegedly tattooed on her head.
In the clip, Ana can be seen sitting in a tattooist’s chair to get the questionable design inked forever. As the needle begins seemingly etching the ink onto her skin, Ana squirms in apparent pain.
Unsurprisingly, plenty of people questioned the legitimacy of the inking, but Ana doubled down.
She said she was "sick and tired" of people claiming the tat wasn't real and and promised she would prove them wrong.
She told her followers: “I don’t know why people think getting such a big tattoo on your forehead is a big deal...You can still find a job and stuff.
“If we break up, I will just have to find myself a different Kevin.”
Well, to the surprise of absolutely nobody, Ana has now admitted the tattoo is fake.
In a video on her social media, she wiped the writing off her forehead and explained to her followers what her thinking behind the prank was.
Pointing at the Kevin on her forehead, she said: "All I want to say is that I regret my tattoo...but not this one. Because this is not actually a real tattoo.
"And the reason why I tricked the whole internet is that I have a message to young people and all of the people who want to get covered in tattoos.
"I want everyone to know that I regret my tattoos and you might regret yours when you get older.
"And as a person fully covered in tattoos, I feel like this is my responsibility to speak up, share my experience, and when people see me on social media the first thing they notice about me is my tattoos.
"So if I influence people, I want to influence people in the right way."
Ana went on to explain that her mum and friends told her she would regret the first tattoos she got, but that she didn't listen to them at the time.
Commenting on the reveal video, one person said: "Not all people will regret their tattoos, each to their own."
Another wrote: "I think every tattoo has a little own story and maybe some of them aren’t perfect but they belong to me. They are a part of me."
But someone else commented: "Not got a single tattoo at 25. Can’t even decide what I want to eat let alone marking my skin."
