Britain’s most tattooed woman has revealed she gets turned away from bars and is mistaken for being a gang member because of her appearance.

Becky Holt got her first tattoo at the age of 15 and has since spent around £35,000 on her body art.

But she believes that people mistake her face tattoos for gang symbols, which has led to her being rejected from places.

The 35-year-old, from Cheshire, told Fabulous: “I have found that I’m rejected for places. Usually places abroad. I was in Turkey recently and my friend and I walked to a bar.

“We both have face tattoos and the place was empty but he said it was full and we couldn’t come in.

“I’ve been to Texas and New York and rejected in places too. They think it’s gang related.”

She added “it’s not very often that happens” though.

It’s not just in person that Becky sometimes gets a negative reaction to her appearance, and she previously spoken about the amount of abuse and trollings she experiences online.

In a recent TV interview, the mum-of-one told GB News: “My family and friends love my tattoos – they’re all really proud of me and think they’re amazing.

“I get quite a lot of backlash online. My followers think they’re unreal but I get trolling.

“People tell me I’ve gone too far but it’s my body. It’s my life – I’ve made these choices.

“It doesn’t bother me that you don’t have tattoos, so why does it bother you that I do?”

Roughly 95 percent of Becky’s body is covered in tattoos, and her favourite piece is a David Bowie lyric on her forehead.

She also has geometric designs across her chest, portraits on her arms and colourful designs across her legs.

She accepts that some may be “intimidated” by her look, but has urged people to not judge a book by its cover, saying: “There’s more to me than my tattoos.”
