Papa John’s delivery man scales cliff to deliver pizza

Now, imagine dropping your pizza in the ocean

A daredevil chef delivered Papa John’s pizza to cliff campers suspended 25 metres in the air as part of a PR stunt to mark the launch of their new product

Alongside the nationwide rollout of their brand new Hemp Sticks, plant-based chef, Matt Pritchard, grabbed his pizza and his climbing gear to head down to Dorset. Twenty-five metres above the jagged rocks and crashing waves, Pritchard found his customers, suspended in the air.

The PR stunt runs alongside the takeaway’s new hemp sticks. Having launched on February 7, Papa John’s is the first fast-food restaurant to include the superfood on its menu.

Hemp is very often associated with cannabis, and in part, that’s true. Both cannabis and hemp come from the same family of plants, and for hemp to be sold legally, it must contain less than o.3 per cent THC.

“In case you’re wondering, nope, hemp seeds won’t get you stoned. While edible hemp seeds come from the same species as cannabis—marijuana—the seeds contain only trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (aka, THC), the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis,” states Health.com.

Hemp seeds are widely regarded as superfoods as they contain protein, vitamins, healthy fats, essential minerals, and fatty acids.

“These fats may help manage cholesterol, triglyceride, and blood pressure levels,” registered dietitian Victoria Whittington told Martha Stewart’s site. “Hemp seeds are [also] an excellent source of vitamin E and minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and zinc.”

She added: “Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that reduces oxidative stress, promotes healthy skin, manages diabetes, and [potentially] eases osteoarthritis.”
