Garlic lovers, listen up

Papa Johns has launched a garlic butter candle that you melts into a delicious dip for your pizza.

Today (April 19) is National Garlic Day, but of course, if you real garlic fans already knew that.

To celebrate, Papa Johns has launched limited-edition Garlic Butter Candles, made with its signature Special Garlic Dip – and you can get your hands on one.

To honour Papa Johns’ much loved dip, a limited number of the edible candles will be available online ahead of National Garlic Day on 19th April.

The garlic dip is often the highlight of a takeaway pizza, and for many there’s never enough. So if you’re the sort of person who’s finished the garlic dip by the time you have your third slice, this is the answer.

The new Garlic Butter Candle brings flavour, fragrance and ambience to the dinner table as it melts down into a creamy, gooey, mouth-watering dip, ready for slices of freshly cooked pizza or piping hot sides to be dunked in.

Whether it’s a Friday night pizza with mates, a weeknight meal with the family, or even a romantic pizza with a significant other, this is the perfect pizza companion.

The candle is inspired by the ever-growing butter candle trend, but this time, the edible butter is made with Papa Johns signature Special Garlic Sauce.

A limited number of Papa Johns Garlic Butter Candles will be available, arriving with a peel-back seal, mimicking the OG dip pots. All that’s left to do now is light it up, watch it melt, and dip it in.

A Papa Johns spokesperson said: “We know how much our customers love garlic – whether it’s our Special Garlic or Garlic & Herb Dip with their favourite pizza, or a side of our Garlic Pizza Sticks. In celebration of National Garlic Day, we’re delighted to be the first QSR brand to launch an edible candle, bringing something extra special to the table for garlic lovers.”

Papa Johns Garlic Butter Candle is available online in celebration of National Garlic Day. Garlic fans will need to be quick as there’s a limited supply.
