Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson finally explains why he pees in water bottles
Let's face it, no one's gonna tell him to stop, are they?
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has revealed the reason why he pees in water bottles while at the gym - a somewhat humourous headline that has haunted him for some time. Well, not really, guy has no shame about it whatsoever.
In a recent 'Explain This' interview with Esquire, the 49-year-old talked about everything from his upcoming project, Black Adam, and early pursuits of a law degree, to wanting to play Bond and peeing in water bottles. Standard list.
The Rock laughingly admits that while "the headline is actually true", he would love to "give context" that makes it sound less nasty - or at least try.
Thankfully, The Rock goes on to explain that this is not a bottle that he purchased to drink water out of and cleans after emptying out his bladder to reuse later - they are bottles he no longer uses and the gym's he usually works out in don't have a bathroom
Johnson has famously discussed his travelling gym, 'The Iron Paradise' on many occasions before and though it is reported to include over 40,000 pounds of equipment, not a single bit of that weight is spent on a toilet.
He goes on to say the set-up, while luxurious is "hot, sweaty and dirty" and since he stays "pretty hydrated" throughout his measly three to four-hour workout, six days a week, he has to go to the bathroom a fair bit - hence the bottle.
Now, we're not going to pretend that we've never been in a situation where we've had to be 'creative', let's say when needing to go the toilet; however, there's something about a millionaire movie star pissing into bottles every day like he's at a Reading and Leeds that's just funny and you know it.
