She’s got more than 500k Instagram followers

Instagram model Sophia Hadjipanteli stunned as she walked the Cannes red carpet for the premiere of Killers Of The Flower Moon.

The Cypriot social media star – who has amassed over 508,000 followers on Instagram thanks to her body positive bold unibrow look- choose a navy frock with a fully-beaded bodice for her red carpet appearance.

She rounded of the look with dull-arm sequined-gloves, and proudly accentuated her iconic unibrow by tying her hair back.

She was attending the film festival for the premiere of Martin Scorsese’s eagerly-anticipated new film, Killers of the Flower Moon.

The 25-year-old grew up in Cyprus before emigrating to the US with her family, where she studied marketing at the University of Maryland.

Back in 2018, she appeared in Good Morning Britain and spoke about unique brows.

She told hosts Richard Madeley and Ranvir Singh that she has even named her brow Veronica, and loves the “shock reactions” she sometimes gets from people.

She said: “I’ve always been known to change my look and do whatever I really wanted

“And I guess that sort of stubbornness and rebelliousness has made me do literally whatever I want.”

Talking about the reactions her look gets from people, she continued: “I think for me it’s about being able to walk outside on a busy street in London with something that I know people will have negative, shocking, positive, cringeworthy, uncomfortable reactions to, and still be able to be strong with who I am, and just walk down the street.

“At the end of the day I left my house loving the way I looked and try to be true to who I am.”

Sophia is naturally blonde, but realised she could really accentuate her brow by tinting them, and loved the fact she was able to find a way to stand out from the crowd.

She explained: “Ever since I was little I’ve always been quite different, just either my style or the way I acted.

“I was always on my own in terms of school and growing up. I was very quirky and with all of that I just wanted to push some sort of boundary.

“I did this before anyone really knew who I was really and it was nothing to do with getting attention or anything like that.”

As is the sadly-predictable case on social media, trolls are never too far from her posts. But she refuses to listen to them and adds the hashtag #UnibrowMovement to all her Instagram posts to encourage others to accept their brows.

“This unibrow movement is really not about just letting everything go, if you want to that is totally what you can do, for me it’s about doing what really makes you happy,” she says.
