Skateboarder proposes to his girlfriend in the most radical way possible

It’s rare that the gnarly and the adorable meet in harmonious circumstances, but here we have them both.

There’s no telling where you might find love. It might be at a disco, it might be in a police line-up, it might be in the queue for McDonald’s waiting to get nuggets. In the case of skateboarders Amelia Brodka and Alec Beck, it was the skatepark.

The Vans Skate Park in Orange, California, to be precise, the venue hosting the 2017 Vans Combi Classic, where Brodka was giving an interview.

In the interview, she explains that she and Alec locked eyes across the skatepark, and it was love from then on. She points out her boyfriend across the other side of the park, who promptly drops into the bowl.
