After a year and a half of dating, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have announced their engagement. And how did they decide to celebrate the occasion? By drinking each other's blood of course! Sharing the news on Instagram, Fox wrote: "We asked for magic "We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time."

She continued: "Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

"Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

The use of blood to really solidify a relationship is reminiscent of Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton's relationship, with the couple famously wearing vials of each other's blood around their necks. Thornton said it was a "very simple thing", and just involved them pricking their fingers with a pin and smearing a little bit of blood into the vials.
