White Chicks

White Chicks could return to the big screen!

2020 was rubbish, and 2021 hasn’t been that much better, until now! Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans has teased a potential second instalment of his raunchy, morally dubious comedy White Chicks. Quite frankly, there has not been a better idea since Theresa May decided to step down.

White Chicks followed two FBI agents played by Marlon and Shawn Wayans. After their protection detail spirals out of control, the two commit to going undercover as two white, bratty, gut-wrenchingly funny socialites. Their signature laughs and iconic phrases are still used today despite the film’s release being in 2004.

“I think White Chicks 2 is necessary,” Marlon Wayans told Variety.

“I think we’ve tightened up so much that we need to loosen our ties a bit and laugh a little bit.”

He added: “I don’t think Hollywood understands what a juggernaut White Chicks 2 would be.”

Wayans went on to say he and his brothers, Keenan and Shawn who co-wrote the flick, already have a plethora of ideas for a second instalment.

“And the world just keeps giving us more,” he confirms.

Terry Crews, who also starred in the flick as footballer player Latrell Spencer, told Andy Cohen that he would be up for a sequel.

“You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like ‘man we doing it, we getting it going’.”

He then joked: “I’ve stayed in shape just for that movie. I’ve been working out for 15 years so we could do White Chicks 2, y’all.”
