AAA game season is upon us, and Assassins Creed Odyssey is leading the pack
The eleventh major instalment in the Assassins Creed franchise sees the action taken to Ancient Greece, telling the fictionalised story of the Peloponnesian War between the Delian League, led by Athens, and the Peloponnesian League, led by Sparta.
In Assassins Creed Odyssey, players will be able to choose the gender of the main character, pursue romantic relationships with non-playable characters, and incorporates a number of RPG elements with multiple possible endings to the game.
One of the most impressive elements of the game is the painstaking lengths the developers put into recreating the look and feel of Ancient Greece.
In the video below, you can see a side-by-side comparison of notable Ancient Greek landmarks, such as the Parthenon, with their recreations in Assassins Creed Odyssey.
Assassins Creed Odyssey is out now on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
