All of this is designed to help customise and tailor the experience for each individual Google profile, of course.
But if you find it a little too off-putting you can manage it to, for example, delete history by day or by topic, turn off your location history and disable the storing of your web and app activity.
It can be a little disconcerting for some people that there's a visible record of so much of their daily activities, but, if managed appropriately on an individual basis, it can prove a useful tool too.
