The Verge is reporting that McDonald's is to block out adult movie websites from the majority of its locations in the US.
The move comes after a campaign from Internet safety activist group Enough is Enough that aims to provide safer public WiFi for "children and families".
The move will see McDonald's join other American fast food restaurants like Chick-fil-A and Panera Bread that have parental controls on their free Wi-Fi.
Enough is Enough admitted that McDonald's "wasn't aware of any pornography related incidents in their stores," but Donna Rice Hughes, the group's leader, applauded the company in The New York Post for the decision, calling it an "act of corporate responsibility and commitment to children and family safety."
