Let's be clear, we're in no way condoning football fans throwing stuff at players.
99.9% of the time it's definitely *not* a laughing matter, but on this occasion it's difficult not to find it amusing.
Why? Well, because the fan in question decides to take out his frustration on a nearby substitute by showering him in *popcorn*.
The incident took place at the MLS match between Vancouver Whitecaps and Sporting Kansas City after the away side's substitute, Dom Dwyer, entered into some form of verbal exchange with a supporter.
After hurling the popcorn, the stewards quickly rush in and deal with the hooligan.
Just as well really, heaven knows what would have happened if the popcorn had continued to rain down on Dwyer.
