A number of top European clubs won’t feature

EA FC 25 won’t feature some of Europe’s biggest clubs in the game.

As EA FC 24 reaches the end of its life cycle, fans are awaiting to hear of all the new features and teams that will playable in the next instalment of the franchise formerly known as FIFA.

One of EA Sports’ major selling points in comparison to rival games has been how many licenses they obtain.

With hundreds of clubs licensed as well as major competitions such as the Champions League, fans love the authentic feel of what the game brings however that now appears to be changing.

In recent years several clubs have signed deals with other games that means EA have had to use alternative team names and kits.

Inter Milan are the latest club to ditch EA after signing a deal with Konami meaning they will now be referred to as ‘Milano Calcio’ and will have to use different logos.

Alongside Inter Milan, Lazio, Atalanta, Napoli and AS Roma will also be absent from the game – at least with their real names.

There is still some good news however as all Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and EFL clubs will be in EA FC 25.

The Premier League signed multi-year extension with EA Sports in 2023, with the EFL and Bundesliga also doing so this year.

La Liga signed a 10-year deal with the game developers in 2020.
