Jose Mourinho hits out at journalist after refusing to take any questions following Roma defeat

'Your job is a lot easier than ours which is why we earn a lot more than you.'

Jose Mourinho refused to take any questions in his post-match press conference after his Roma team lost 3-0 to Inter Milan on Saturday night.

Three first-half goals from the away side - including one from former Roma striker Edin Dzeko - stunned Mourinho's side at the Stadio Olimpico to leave Roma nine points off a Champions League spot in fifth place.

The Giallorossi were without several key players, including Tammy Abraham and Lorenzo Pellegrini, and were no match for Mourinho's former side.

Evidently angered by the display he saw from his team, the 58-year-old took his frustrations out in the media as he sat down for his post-match conference, but refused to answer a question from a journalist, instead hitting back with a fiery response.

As per the MailOnline, he said: "Your job is a lot easier than ours which is why we earn a lot more than you."

Mourinho then refused to answer any more questions for the duration of the conference, and instead began to go on a lengthy rant, insisting that the game could have been different had Roma taken their chances earlier on.

"Inter are better than us on a good day. Inter are objectively better than us. This became an extremely difficult match tonight because of absentees," he said.

"They finished 29 points above us last season. We had three big chances, two of which came at 0-0."

Mourinho joined Roma in the summer after he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur back in April and has won 13 of his 23 games in charge.
