Tuchel has been sacked
Chelsea have sacked Thomas Tuchel, the club have confirmed in a statement.
Tuchel was sacked after losing 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday night and off the back of already losing three Premier League games this season.
A statement from the club confirmed that the German had been relieved of his position just hours after his 100th game in charge.
It said: “On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.”

Tuchel joined Chelsea in 2021 – taking over from Frank Lampard – and proved to be a popular figure during his time in west London.
The German won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and World Club Cup during his time at the Blues and becomes the second managerial casualty of the season after Scott Parker.
The Telegraph have reported that the decision to sack Tuchel wasn’t based solely on results with owner Todd Boehly unconvinced by their relationship and that it work together in the long term.
Chelsea are hoping to make a quick appointment and Brighton and Hove Albion boss Graham Potter has been made the early favourite and an approach is set to be made.
Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane are names which have been mentioned but it remains to be seen if an approach for them will also be made.
Anthony Barry is set to take charge of their game against Fulham this weekend.
