Happy World Redhead Day!

Yep, today is World Redhead Day (who knew?) and as a member of this fine fiery-haired community, I reckon it's something worth celebrating.

Along with being the most chastised hair colour, there are plenty of benefits, some of which will probably surprise you.

So if you're part of the lucky 2% with red hair, be proud.

And if you're the sort of person who says you have 'strawberry blonde' hair, then I have two words for you: grow up. It's not a real hair colour and I will die on this hill.

Just before we start, I'll send my annual thoughts to football fans in for the most nerviest of matches this weekend. Whether you're heading to Wembley for a play-off final, or fighting the prospect of Premier League relegation, all the best.
