Santa Claus is running for election in North Pole, Alaska

It looks like Santa Claus is getting out of the toy business and going into professional politics.

A man who is legally named Santa Claus is running for city council in a small city called North Pole in Alaska. "Does he look like Santa Claus?", we hear you ask. He does, if Santa Claus raided the wardrobe of a druid. Mr. Claus is an advocate for children's rights and has previously won the SCPC 2009 International Peace Prize (according to his Facebook page). His Facebook page also contains other gems, such as him begging people to stop asking him for presents.
